A book review

Hello, In this post, I'm going to write a book review. This is a very important book for me. It's called " Of Mice and Men ", which was translated as " Fareler ve İnsanlar " into Turkish. It is a short novel. It was written by John Steinbeck, who is a famous American author. It was first published in 1937, and it originally has got 107 pages. This is the cover of the book in first edition in 1937. The main characters of the book are George and Lennie. George is short, but he is a strong man. Also, he is Lennie's best friend. On the other hand, Lennie is very tall and very strong, but he is mentally disabled. In other words, he is like a baby. He cannot do anything without George's help. He always asks George before he does something. Lennie and George in the film version of the book. George and Lennie live together. They have a dream; they want to make a lot of money and buy a farm and live there happily ever after. For this, they need to work. So, t

A film review

Hello, In this post, I am going to write a review of a film.   This is one of my favourite films of all time. It is called  Terminator 2 - The Judgment Day , and it is the second film of the Terminator sequel. It is a science-fiction film, and it was released in 1991. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the good robot, Robert Patrick, the bad robot and Linda Hamilton starred in the film. Edward Furlong is the child star. It was directed by James Cameron (the director of Titanic and Avatar), and Brad Fiedel made its epic music. You can listen to this epic soundtrack of the film while reading the rest of the post :) Terminator (Arnold Schwazzenegger) is a robot and he comes from the future. He wants to protect John Connor (Edward Furlong) from T-1000, the bad robot who wants to kill John Connor. Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) is John's mother, and they both try to escape from T-1000, so the Terminator helps them. John Connor meeting Terminator for the first time. I am in love with this film. It is

My favourite artist

Hello everyone, In this post, I'm going to write about my favourite artist. He is called Banksy. He is from England, and he is a street artist. He has got millions of followers on social media. For example, more than 10 million people follow him on Instagram. There is something really interesting about him: Nobody knows who he really is. In other words, he is an anonymous artist. He just paints a picture on a wall (mural) in a city somewhere around the world, and it gets famous right away, but he usually does it in England. Unfortunately, some of his artwork is erased afterwards because people don't know it was Banksy, who painted it. Sometimes people erase his artwork because they don't like the message in it, or it is wiped out because some say it is vandalism. Here are a couple of examples of his artwork that I like. A Banksy graffiti about global warming Banksy made this in Palestine. Banksy on refugee crisis I like his art because it always has a message. He draws ab

An Inspiring Person

Hello, In this post, I'm going to write about an inspiring person. Her name is Greta Thunberg. She is a 17 year old young girl from Sweden. She is a student and an environmental activist. In 2018, one day, Greate decided not to go to school. Instead she went to the parliament building (of Sweden) and protested the government's attitude towards the climate change all alone. Then she became famous for her ideas and nowadays she is a famous activist and giving talks in different places.  World Economic Forum , the European Parliament and the United Nations are a few of them. In this video, Greta is addressing all of the world leaders and calling upon them to do something serious about the climate change. Greta is also joining protests for climate change in different countries. She goes everywhere. Greta in a protest in Canada In my opinion, Greta is a very inspiring person because she does a lot of things against the climate change. She is also very sensitive . She is doing he
