3 things you can do during lockdown

In this post, I'm going to tell you 3 things that you can do during lockdown. I hope you find them useful and give them a try.

1. Visit museums online

Do you like visiting museums? If yes, there are a lot of famous museums you can visit online. Thanks to Google's street view technology, you can visit some museums as if you're walking inside them. Here are a few examples:

The British Museum : You're right in front of Ramses, the mighty pharaoh of the Ancient Egypt! In this virtual tour, you can see some very famous historical artefacts. For example, the Rosetta Stone is also in this museum.

Musée d’Orsay : You can see some of the amazing paintings by Van Gogh and Claudie Monet in this museum.

2. Learn another language

How about learning another language besides English? There are many apps that will help you. For example, DuoLingo is my favourite language learning app, and I use it to learn French.

German, French and Russian are also available for Turkish learners in DuoLingo.

3. Get a pet

Pets are awesome! During the pandemic, it is a good idea to adopt a pet if you don't have one. They will become your lovely companions during this time of boredom.

A review of an app

Hello everyone, In this post, I'm going to write a review of an app/website. It's called Duolingo. It's a language-learning app. Millions of people use it, and I started to use it last year. I use it once a day because I practise French on it. It's a great app because it's free and very easy to use. All you need is to choose the language you want to learn and do some fun activities on it. You can hear all the sentences in questions. Also you can repeat some sentences using your microphone. It will tell you if you pronounce it correctly. It's fun. You can also read and listen to stories in there. Last but not least, it has got both an app and website version, and they're compatible! In my opinion, there is only one problem with it. You cannot watch any videos. It's only listening. It would be great if we could hear some real people using the language. My favourite artist

Hello everyone, In this post, I'm going to write about my favourite artist. He is called Banksy. He is from England, and he is a street artist. He has got millions of followers on social media. For example, more than 10 million people follow him on Instagram. There is something really interesting about him: Nobody knows who he really is. In other words, he is an anonymous artist. He just paints a picture on a wall (mural) in a city somewhere around the world, and it gets famous right away, but he usually does it in England. Unfortunately, some of his artwork is erased afterwards because people don't know it was Banksy, who painted it. Sometimes people erase his artwork because they don't like the message in it, or it is wiped out because some say it is vandalism. Here are a couple of examples of his artwork that I like. A book review

Hello, In this post, I'm going to write a book review. This is a very important book for me. It's called " Of Mice and Men ", which was translated as " Fareler ve İnsanlar " into Turkish. It is a short novel. It was written by John Steinbeck, who is a famous American author. It was first published in 1937, and it originally has got 107 pages. This is the cover of the book in first edition in 1937. The main characters of the book are George and Lennie. George is short, but he is a strong man. Also, he is Lennie's best friend. On the other hand, Lennie is very tall and very strong, but he is mentally disabled. In other words, he is like a baby. He cannot do anything without George's help. He always asks George before he does something. Lennie and George in the film version of the book. George and Lennie live together.
